Stationary, uniforms distributed to students, municipality workers

Jammu, Oct 2: Kits containing copies, pens fruit juices other Stationary material were distributed to 80 students from two schools whereas kits containing jackets, gloves, masks were distributed to municipality workers for hygienic working in a programme organized at Ward no. 41, Hazuri Bagh, Talab Tillo Bohri to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
BJP State Secretary & local Councillor Sanjay Baru accompanied by BJP State Press Secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Tehsildar Jammu West Rajesh Kumar, Incharge Police Post Pauni Chakk Varun Singh along with other social & political workers as well as prominent residents of the Ward were present on the occasion.
Sanjay Baru, while speaking on the occasion, threw light on the important events of life of Mahatma Gandhi. Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, in his address, prompted all the present dignitaries, school children, municipality workers to take pledge on the moment for promotion of Swadeshi products, reducing wastage of water and eliminating use of Single Use Plastics. He said that it is utmost necessary for us all to actively participate in the promotion of green mission to save our future generations. He said that these measures are today extremely necessary for the maintenance of environment.
