Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 2: Many eye-brows raised as BJP's mass base leader and party's stalwart Sukhnandan Choudhary was missing in the function organized at his home turf Marh where some Panchayat members joined the party.
Ironically Ram Madhav visited Marh but Sukhnandan Choudhary was missing from the event. Marh is fiefdom of Sukhnandan Choudhary, who has not only won two successive assembly elections from this seat but also lost two successive assembly polls by narrow margin.
Today Ram Madhav visited Marh but Sukhnandan Choudhary was missing from the event.
According to handout issued by BJP, Ram Madhav visited border villages of Marh Constituency, he was accompanied by BJP State President Ravinder Raina, Vice President Narayan Singh, BJP Spokesperson Abhinav Sharma, State Secretary Arvind Gupta, Sham Lal Sharma, District President Omi Khajuria, OBC Cell General Secretary Sukhjit Singh and Baba Chanchal Singh.
Shockingly in the press note party has not mentioned name of Choudhary Sukhnandan.
While visiting Border area, Ram Madhav along with BJP leaders travelled by foot near International Border, met with BSF officials and villagers residing in the Border villages, he listened to their demands in particular the difficulties faced by them during shelling and firing from across the Border and assured them that the grievances would be redressed by constructing more bunkers and by providing more reservation in Govt. Jobs to those who are residing near International Border and also to undertake special Recruitment Drive by BSF, Army and CRPF for the of the youth residing near International Border.
Later on he addressed a large public gathering in a grand function held at village Halqa in Marh constituency, in which number of Sarpanch and Panches joined BJP in presence of Abhinav Sharma. Prominent amongst them were Retired Colonel Somnath Dogra (Sarpanch Panchayat MAndal),Vandana Kumari (Sarpanch PAnchayat Nagbani Floura),Lajja Devi (Sarpanch Panchayat Gangochak), Pooja Kumari Sarpanch (Panchayat Halqa), Naib Sarpanch Dev Raj Saini (Panchayat Sararo).
