Terror diary recovered from slain Hizb militant holds key

Jammu, Oct 2: After successfully eliminating the three top rank Hizb terrorist including the most wanted terrorist commander Osama bin Javed in heart of Batote town on Kishtwar-Jammu National Highway, the Jammu and Kashmir police is presently analyzing the "Terror Diary" recovered from the possession of the slain militants.
The sources told the "Early Times" that the terror diary recovered from the militants belongs to Osama Javed which carried some mobile numbers and other personal details pertaining to Osama Javed who was involved in killing of Parihar brothers and RSS leader Chanderkant Sharma and was eliminated by the security forces in 9 hour long operation at Batote on September 28 along with two other militants.
The sources said that the diary was not traceable at first instance, but later it was found with one of the army Jawan added that after the intervention of senior officials, Ramban police was able to found the said diary which holds key in ongoing investigation into the functioning of terror modules in Kishtwar and Doda District. The sources said that the "terror diary" contain the mobile numbers of some radicalized youths who were either detained by police or had been named in FIRs.
The sources said that it is premature to say anything whether the said "Terror Diary" will provide some vital clues that will help the investigation agencies.
The sources said that police is also looking into the circumstance and the persons who help the militants to manage to travel upto Batote which is around 110 KM from Kishtwar despite high security presence along along Jammu-Kishtwar National Highway.
Meanwhile "Early Times" get access to the two FIRs registered by Kishtwar Police against 12 persons including brother of Ex Congress Minister G M Saroori and others.
As per the FIRs, 12 person named include FIR No 230/2019 U/S 13/18/19/38/39 ULA which include the name of Nisar Ahmed Rather son of Bashir Ahmed Rather R/O Hunjala, Kousar Hussain Son of Abdul Kabir Bagban R/O Hunjala Kishtwar, Liquat Ali son of Aziz Ahmed Bagwan R/O Huller, Mohammad Jaffar son of Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh R/O Dool Kishtwar, Asif Hussain son of Nazir Ahmed Butt R/o Berwar Kishtwar & Imtiyaz Ahmed Butt son of Abdul Gani Butt R/o Berwar. All the accused mentioned in this FIR has been arrested by the police along with six others who were designated as terrorist and coconspirators in Parihar brothers killing and RSS leader Chanderkant Sharma and are presently on police remand.
While in another FIR No. 229/ U/S 13/18/19/38/39 ULA the name includes Mashood Ahmed Mattoo son of Ghulam Hussain Mattoo R/o Near Grid Station Malipath, Mohammad Shafi Saroori son of unknown R/o Saroori Mohallah Kishtwar, Mohammad Muzzafar Son of Unknown R/O Bagban Mohallah Kishtwar, Ghulam Mohammad Kamal Son of Abdul Rehman Kamal R/o Kamal Mohallah Kishtwar, Touseef Ahmed Gundna Son of Ghulam Nabi Gundna R/o Near Jamia Masjid Kishtwar and Syed Ahmer Son of Syed Ajaiz Ahmed R/o Bagban Mohallah Kishtwar.
Among the six person mentioned in this FIR only one accused Touseef Gundna is already in jail since last more than one year for similar charges while Syed Muzzafar Hussain is retired Chief Engineer who is on bed since last more than five years.
The other accused in this FIR is former District President Jamat e Islami and is also a bed ridden since last several years and leave in the said house which is said to be used by the militants as hideout along with his paralyzed son.
The accused Mohammad Shafi Saroori is the brother of former Congress Minister Ghulam Mohammad Saroori while Mashood Ahmed Mattoo is the brother of senior BJP Muslim Morcha leader Mansoor Ahmed Mattoo and both are the businessmen and had refuted the allegations.
The brother of former Congress Minister Mohammad Shafi Saroori who is himself a businessman and former Sarpanch while talking to "Early Times" refuted the allegations leveled against him by Kishtwar police over his allege role in helping the HM terrorist and subsequently register an FIR No. 229/2019 against him & others.
He said that he strongly refute the police claims added that his family had undergone trauma since last more than six years as his wife was suffering from a Cancer disease and had to travel for her treatment outside the state often.
As per the content of both the FIR, the police said that the accused person named in them were involved in providing shelter, transportation, financial help to the longest surviving Hizb Militant Commander Mohammad Amin Butt alias Jahingir Saroori beside also help him financially and provide information to the militants about the movements of security forces and also help the militants to arrange the meeting of militants with the aim to carry out anti India and Anti National activities in Kishtwar District.
