Jammu, Nov 6: Rashtriya Kavi Sangam JK organized a multilingual Kavi Sammelin at K L Saigal Hall, Cultural academy, Jammu where about thirty poets of Dogri, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu recited their original poems. Bhupinder Kaushak, Founder Trustee, Rashtriya Kavi Sangam was the chief guest on this occasion. Jagdish Mittal, National President of the Rashtriya Sangam presided over the programme. Dr. Raj Kumar, a noted Hindi writer, Dr. arvinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Cultural & Languages and Dr. Krishan Lal, former MLA were the guests of honour on this occasion. Intellectuals, writers and art lovers attended the programme. The programme started with lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries followed by poetry session in which Bindia Tickoo, Neelam Verma, Keemat, Bishan Das, Santosh Nadan, Sarvesh Mishra, Jugal Kishore, Sant Kesav Das, Thodu Ram, Kusam dhar, Jang S. vermin, Master Naseeb Singh, Rashpal Singh, Varinder Mishra, Ashok Sharma, Vinod Kumar, Satish, Sujata Kaul, O P Shakir, Sham Talib, Kusam Dhar, Dolly Tickoo , Pawan Sharma, Ashok Kaul, Anita Sharma, Ramesh Nirash, Mukesh Singh ShirajiUttam Singh Rahi and Viplav Shastri read out their poetry. Vijay Magotra and Bihari Lal Shastri expressed their views on the programme on this occasion. The poets were adequately felicitated by the organizers on this occasion.
