Early Times Report
Poonch, Nov 4: Employees of several government officer particularly in remote areas mostly remain absent from duties perhaps knowing that no one is going to take any action against then but the fact is that people suffer a lot any there is no one to feel their pain and office of BDO Mendhar is glaring example among such offices where absenteeism galores, sources said here today.
People said that they have been coming from far flung areas for seeking the help of the office for their day today works but after reaching here we find no one in the office which is irony and un wanted practice. There must be some sense among these officials who enjoy parties of elected chairmen mostly than to attend their duties, they alleged.
A group of people brought the matter into the notice of tehsildar Dr Vikram Kumar who asked his deputy to submit the report in this regard to his office. Thought Naib tehsildar Mohd Afzal inspected the BDO office and found 4 employees absent from duty has conveyed to Tehsildar about the development instantly while talking to Early Times Dr Vikram Kumar said that the menace will be dealt with sternly and people will heave a sigh of relief.
