Doda, Nov 24: The two day, first of its kind, 'Doda film festival' concluded here today with screening of a special documentary on 'Back to Village', a unique initiative of the government envisaging extending governance at people's doorstep. The event was organised by the district administration under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Sagar D. Doifode. Various movies and documentaries based on different subjects like government schemes, sports, patriotism, disaster management, climatic change were screened for the school children and general public of the district. The concluding event focussed on screening of a special documentary on 'Back to Village' program, scheduled to start from tomorrow, for the designated visiting officers. The documentary highlighted the broad contours of this ambitious event besides elucidating the success stories of phase first of the program. DDC Dr. Sagar D. Doifode, ADC, DPO, visiting officers besides school children and general public was present on the occasion. |
