Stephens International Public School organizes Children's Fest 'Kaleidoscope'

JAMMU, Nov 24: Stephens International Public School organized Children's Fest, 'Kaleidoscope' in the school playfield with great pomp and show.
The event was presided over by Sham Lal Sharma Ex-Minister Health & PHE, Garu Ram Ex MLA RS Pura, Prof K L Bhatia former HOD Law Dept. University of Jammu along with the Chairman Dr Kamal Saini IGP (Retd), the Vice Chairperson Amarjit Singh, Director Satvinder Saini, Principal Ram Parkash Sharma, School Administrator Rama Jamwal and numerous prominent personalities of the locality including valuable parents.
The fest was inaugurated with the lighting of lamp and releasing of pigeons by all the dignitaries present on the occasion. Dr Kamal Saini extended his heartiest welcome and gratefulness to the chief guest as well as the dignitaries and parents for their benign presence in the mega fest.
A colourful cultural carnival comprising of Shiv Tandav and Fusion representing the theme of Unity in Diversity was appreciated by one and all. Students attired in colourful outfits performed Gatka, Lavini, Kaal Belia, Dogri and Kashmiri dances which left an memorable impact on the gathering.
The Principal Ram Prakash Sharma addressed the gathering and asserted that the school has been a trendsetter in innovative teaching strategies and rendering quality education to the society.
The chief guest gave away the prizes and awards to the meritorious students of classes X and XII for exemplary board results. Sports achievers at National Level were also felicitated. Golden achievers namely Poonardeep Singh, Harmanpreet Kour and Pariket Bhagat were honoured too. Udhav Singh (IOS State Topper), Mishthi and Irshleen, best orators in Hindi and English respectively were also awarded.
Speaking on the occasion, Sham Lal Sharma praised the school management for rendering selfless services in the field of education. At the same time he congratulated the management for bagging, The British Council School Excellence Award for bringing an international dimension to teaching and learning.
A lucky draw was announced during the culmination of the fest Ticket No 1773 (Simranjeet Kour) got the first prize of an Android Mobile, ticket no 0194 (Prabhnoor Singh) won a microwave oven as the second prize and ticket no 2303 (Mohit) won a bicycle as the third prize. A lot of attractive consolation prizes were also given away.
