Psychological Test organised at Oriental Academy 11/24/2019 10:18:19 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 24: Coordinator Aditya Sharma Global Competition Counselling and Educational Society organised today on Sunday a scientific test for finding interest of children by using Inventory Comprehensive Interest Schedule under the guidance of Prof. K.L. Bharti who delivered a lecture on guidance and counselling. He also spoke on education and vocational development. Personality development expert Counsellor Shanti Saroop Sharma spoke on all round development of personality and drug abuse. Others who were presents are Reena Sharma, Meena Singh. Test was conducted by Psychologist Parul Sharma at Oriental Academy Hr Secondary School Afgana Mohalla Jammu . The programme was attended by students of age group between 14 to 24 years of the school's Oriental Academy,SOS HGS, New Diamond Play Way School,KNIT, Lawrance and Indra public school participated.The aim of the test was to find out interest of children by using scientific procedures so that students may not suffer in education and lead to better performance in education and also in their career selection. Inventoried interest is the scientific way of assessing individual's interest. This method involves asking individuals individuals to report their likes, dislikes and preferences among items in a list of activities occupations. This method is worldly popular and widely used one because it permits a broader sampling of behaviours, likes and preferences and also provides objective scores that permit individual and occupational group comparisons. Comprehensive Interest Schedule a psychological test is highly helpful to the children in their career selection. The testing programme is purely scientific and the reports of the test shall be delivered soon by counsellor to the participated children.
