| Dwivedi reviews functioning of Women's Development Corporation | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 3: Commissioner Secretary Social welfare Department, Manoj Kumar Dwivedi today reviewed the functioning of Women's Development Corporation in a meeting held at Civil Secretariat.
The meeting was attended by Special Secretary, Social Welfare Department, Rifat Arif; Managing Director, Women's Development Corporation, Dr. Naheed Soz; officials from allied departments and other concerned.
Chairing the meeting, Dwivedi took stock of overall status of functioning of the Corporation besides assessing the problems of the Corporation.
The Commissioner Secretary directed the concerned officers of the Corporation to fill up its vacancies as per proper recruitment rules in a time bound manner.
Praising the Corporation for providing assistance to deserving beneficiaries for establishing various units, Dwivedi directed the officials that the environment friendly products manufactured in these units should be widely publicized.
Later, the Commissioner Secretary released catalogue of products manufactured in various units financed by the Corporation. |
