JAMMU, Dec 18: For the participation of Inter-University Pencak Silat Tournament selection trials of Men & Women were conducted at GGM Science College Jammu today under the Department of Dean Students Welfare, Cluster University of Jammu.
Dr Vinod Bakshi, Sports Coordinator Cluster University of Jammu and Physical Director GGM Sc. College graced the occasion.
In Men's section, Mukesh Kumar, Mahesh Kumar, Sehaj Kumar, Ajay Kumar, Harsh Dogra and Abhijeet Slathia in weight categories of 47 kg, 55 kg, 60 kg, 69 kg, 70 kg and 71 kg respectively were selected.
Likewise, in Women's section Komal Dhiman, Sakshi Dhiman, Jhanvi, Anushka Bakshi and Kajal Sharma in weight categories 49 kg, 51 kg, 59 kg, 66 kg and 61 kg respectively selected.
Prof Mohd Sadeeq, Prof Jagdish, Prof Arun Sharma, Dr Roopali Slathia, Physical Director GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu, Neelam Chalotra, Assistant Physical Director MAM College and Pawan Giri, Assistant Physical Director GGM Science College were present.
The selection trials were conducted by Karan Chopra and Rishab Goswami under the supervision of Gourav Arora, working president Pencak Silat Association of J&K. |
