| Vet Docs raise questions over appointment of senior official on vital post | | Allege Non-Technical person appointed on Technical post | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 18: A group of Veterinary Doctors of Department of Animal/Sheep Husbandry Department has allegedly raised question mark over the appointment of a senior official terming him ineligible for the post by saying that a non technical person has been appointed on this vital post.
Sources told Early Times that some veterinary doctors were not pleased with the appointment of a senior official and started showing their resentment clandestinely within the department ever since his posting in the department.
The order issued by General Administration Department (GAD) was condemned by the vet doctors, who alleged that the move was taken by (GAD) in connivance with Administrative Department of Animal/Sheep Husbandry Department, which is injustice with them.
The doctors alleged that the post is solely for a technical person while a non technical person has been appointed on this imperative post, which is direct attack on legitimate rights of the veterinarians.
They further informed that the order issued by GAD is in contravention to SRO-670 dated 25/10/2019 and SRO-897 dated 26/10/2019 wherein it was clarified that post is borne on the strength of the Animal Husbandry Department Jammu. |
