| VDCs active across border to indulge in bad activities with Indian forces | | | MS Nazki

Poonch, Dec 18: Pak army has activated village defence committees from its side to indulge with Indian security forces in bad activities official sources across the border said here today.
They said that Pak army has also involved members of their village defence committees close to LoC to carry out subversive activities in Poonch, Mendhar, Balakote, Sunderbani, Keeri and other areas besides they have been provided with latest weapons. Retired army personnel and new recruits from civilian areas have been inducted in these committees sources added.
According to sources from across the border these new recruits have been asked to target peaceful areas falling along the LoC and in coming days security forces have to maintain a strict vigil on borders and LoC not only in Poonch and Rajouri district only but also the Kathua, Samba, Jammu and Akhnoor sectors of Jammu division.
Keeping in view the development of circumstances, more vigil on sensitive areas is to be maintained and have to deal with divisive forces with an iron hand. |
