| Unsuccessful burglary attempt made in Kishtwar town | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Dec 21: Some unidentified burglars during last intervening night made unsuccessful burglary attempt at an ever busy Shaheedi road market in heart of Kishtwar town.
As per the details available with "Early Times" , the burglary attempt was made on the shop of Ved Prakash Gupta, former counsellor and a prominent social activist, but the buglers fail in its attempt and only manage to break the side locks, but fail to break the central lock of the shop situated few hundred meters away from Police Station Kishtwar.
After arriving at the shop in the morning, Gupta noticed the locks of the shops were broken and brought the matter into the notice of Kishtwar police who immediately rush to the spot. The police seize the broken locks and started its investigation- however no item from the shop was found missing. After the fail attempt, the traders community shows their resentment and called for strengthening of night patrolling. Kishtwar Police also begin to scrutinise the footage of the CCTV cameras installed in the town, particularly in the area where the shop is located. |
