| Mayor inaugurates deluxe toilet complex | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 21: Continuing his commitment to provide better basic as well as development facilities to the people of Jammu Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation Chander Mohan Gupta today on 21-12-2019 conducted an intensive tour of ward no.74 in the areas of Bhatindi, Sunjwan etc alongwith Sh Sobat Ali Municipal Councilor of the ward. He inaugurated a deluxe toilet complex having Bathrooms, three units of urinals , a caretaker's room in the complex of Macca masjid Bhatindi. The said toilet complex was constructed at the estimate cost of Rs 10.50 lacs under swacch Bharat Mission by Voluntary organization on environment & social Economic planning (VOESEP) & was constructed on the demand of inhabitants as well as chairman of the Masjid Sh Majid ji, Sh Suraj Parkash Padha , Hon'ble chairman of Swacch Bharat Standing committee , JMC Mohinder kumar Hon'ble Councilor of ward no.61 alongwith Dr. Tahir Choudhary, engineer Ghulam Ali Khatana Senior BJP leaders & large number of devotees & inhabitants of Bhatindi area, Arun Gupta XEN, JMC, Anil Gupta Asstt. Executive Engineer, representatives of VOESEP & other field staff of JMC were also present during the tour.
Mayor appreciated the works done by VOESEP in J&K for providing better sanitation services and said more deluxe toilet complexes will be constructed on public demands in Jammu city in order to make it clean & free from open defection & also appeal to general public to refrain from this bad habit and cooperate with JMC to make Jammu neat, Clean & green under Swacch Bharat Mission. |
