Gurudwara Management Committee Vijaypyur organizes anti-drugs cycle rally

VIJAYPUR, Dec 21: Gurudwara Management Committee Vijaypyur organized an anti-drugs cycle rally to make the youth aware of abstaining from drug abuse. Apart from school children, youth also participated in the cycle rally organized to celebrate 353th Prakashotsav of Guru Gobind Singh. The cycle rally after starting from village Khod Salariyan of frontier area Ramgarh, passed several rural pockets of the area to reach Vijaypur Central Gurudwara.
SSP Samba Shakti Pathak, who was the chief guest while ex-Minister Manjeet Singh was special guest flagged off the cycle rally. Speaking on the occasion, they suggested to youth to avoid the evil outbreak of intoxication. Advising the youths to stay away from drugs, SSP Samba said that in today's time, the young generation of our country is being mired in drug addiction.
Vijaypur Central Gurdwara President Gurdeep Singh, Sarpanchs, Panchs and dignitaries of various Panchayat Halqas, including Gurjit Singh, attended the cycle rally and advised the youth to stay away from drug addiction. Plantation campaigns were also conducted on this occasion and it was also resolved to establish greenery on both sides of the road from Nandpur to Vijaypur.
