| CB Jammu produces preliminary charge sheet against fake counselor | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 21: Crime Branch (CB) Jammu has produced preliminary charge sheet in the Court of Sub-Judge Mobile Magistrate 13 FC against a fake medical seats counselor, who is accused of duping gullible people of their hard earned money.
The accused Sudip Syama Chakrabarty son of Shyama Chakrabarty R/O 30-A/2AA Nai Awadi Kishore Gunj, Taj Ganj, Uttar Pradesh, A/P H No 1903 Galaxy Royal, Prem Nagar Tee Dongri Goregaon (W), Mumbai was booked in case FIR No 24/2019 U/S 420, 120-B of RPC in P/S Crime Branch, Jammu. The accused duped the complainant and other gullible people of their hard earned money by impersonating as a counselor for arranging medical seats admission in private Medical Colleges for MD and MS in Ramiah College Bangalore. A written complaint was lodged by Dr Gafoor Ahmed of Main Bazaar Akhnoor, Ravinder Singh Jasrotia, Rajinder Singh Andotra and Dr Syed Shayan in Crime Branch Jammu against accused Sudip Syama Chakrabarty for alluring them to arrange admission for their wards in private Medical colleges and duped them of an amount of Rs 1.53 crore by fraud and cheating. A preliminary verification was conducted by Crime Branch, Jammu and after allegations of fraud and cheating were prima-facie established against the accused the instant case was registered in P/S Crime Branch Jammu. |
