Jammu, Dec 21: Tawi Welfare Society Sure Chack, Jammu organised five day free cataract eye operation camp. The camp was inaugurated by Dr Chander Prakash Sharma, Medical Suprintendent Gandhi Nagar Hospital. More than 272 patients were examined and out of which 29 patients were admitted for operation. A team of doctors comprising Dr Nirumapam Dogra, Dr Kamal Gupta, Dr Shekhar Sharma and Dr Payal Gupta conducted the surgery.
On the concluding day, Kishore Singh Chib Director Floriculture was the Chief Guest and in his address he appreciated the role Tawi Welfare Society.
Munish Gupta Editor-in-Chief Early Times was the Guest of Honour on the occasion. Yash Paul Mangotra, General Secretary presented welcome address. During the camp, free boarding, lodging and medicines were provided to the patients.
Kavi Raj President of the society expressed gratitude to the MS, Team of doctors, BMO Sohanjana and others who assisted to make the camp successful. |
