| Protest over encroachment of School's land, case registered | | |  Sushil Dutta

Rajouri, Dec 22: The local native of village Bathera of Kalakote Tehsil today raised their concern against the encroachers during a massive protest outside Govt High School Bathera.
One of the local said that certain Naiz ul Haq residing in the same area is again and again trying to forcibly encroach upon the land of the school. He has also said that owing to good contacts in police Niaz-ul-haq is also targeting the innocent natives of the area.
While the interacting headmaster of the institution pointed out that on 17th of this month the school went for the picnic and in absence of caretaker of the school, several alleged goons led by Naiz-ul-haq tried to encroach the boundary of the institution.
They also damaged the infrastructure of the school including a volleyball court, kitchen shed and boundary of the school.
The headmaster claimed that due to these miscreants' students and the staff of the school is in state of continuous fear psychic. This is hammering the work culture and conducive environment of the school.
Headmaster also informed that on 26th of November Tehsildar Kalakote along with a team vacated these persons even after being vacated, they are trying to encroach the land with malafide intention.
Speaking on the matter, SSP Rajouri Yougal Manhas said that action as per rule will be taken.
"On the basis of an earlier complaint, an FIR has been registered against the culprits, who illegally tried to encroach the land and who has disturbed the peace of area", he added. |
