Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 22: Panun Kashmir held the meeting of its Political Affairs Committee at Jammu today. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Virender Raina, President, Panun Kashmir and the Chairman, PAC. Varinder Raina, President in his speech said that the Kashmiri Pandit community that was subjected to persecution, genocide and ethnic cleansing in Kashmir can very well feel and understand the pain and sufferings of the religious minorities from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan and stand in solidarity with them.
We fully support the CAA and the NRC and condemn in strongest terms the attempts to loot, arson and mass destruction of public and private properties by the vested interests in the political class. He also expressed concern over the leading role played by the principle opposition party in organising these violent riots.
Upinder Koul, general secretary said that earlier the universities used to producescholars and scientists who would work for the good of nation and the mankind. Unfortunately, now a few of these institutions have become hub of producing antinational and anti-social elements and jihadi bigots. It is time that the Government should act strictly against these elements and urged the authorities to change the name of the JNU to VSU (Veer Savarkar University). Kamal Bagati, General Secretary(Org) while conducting the proceedings of the meeting apprised the members regarding the arrangements made for the 'Margdarshan Divas' to be held on 28th of Dec. 2019(Saturday) at Jammu.
He urged that India must stand strong under the able leadership of PM Narendra Modi as anti-India forces seek to cause trouble again, with Congress, TMC and the leftists actively creating disturbances from the within and the other jihadi & terror elements doing the same from outside the nation.
This is the time to show solidarity and unity to withstand the conspiracies unleashed by the defeatist forces.
Those who participated in the deliberations included among others Prof. M.LRaina, Adviser, Upinder Kaul, General Secretary, Kamal Bagati, General Secretary (Org.), J.L.Kaul, Vice President, Ashok Chrungoo, Treasurer, S.L.Bhat, P.K.Bhan, P.N.Pandita and Sameer Bhat, Convenor, Panun Kashmir Youth.
