JAMMU, Dec 24: Shubh Memorial International School, Akhnoor, celebrated its 4th Annual Mega Showcase 2019-20 Function, PARVOSTAV, on Tuesday.
Former Minister and BJP leader, Sham Lal Sharma, graced the occasion as the esteemed Chief Guest, and Sandeep Mehta (SSP, STF JKP) and Ajay Sharma as the Guest of Honour. The program commenced with the lightening of the Ceremonial lamp, followed by the inaugurating performance 'Tridevi Vandana'. The program progressed with the Welcome Speech presented by Hunar Gupta, a student of 4th standard to welcome all the dignitaries.
The Principal of SMIS, Shilpa Mahajan, formally welcomed the eminent guests and presented the Annual Report 2019-20 highlighting the achievements. She thanked everyone for their contribution in the journey of SMIS.
The ebullient dancers of the school presented thematic 'Parvostav' depicting rich radiant and vibrant festivals of India. Mellifluous dance on ' Teri Mitti ' and 'Saanu kendi ' was replete with patriotism. Couple dance performance Senorita was riveting.
While addressing the function Sham Sharma said that parental engagement in a child's life in participation with the school and their teachers is essential for growth and development of students as confident, moral and socially aware adults. |
