Jammu, Dec 24: Dr. Kamaldeep Kaur, Assistant Professor, GDC, Udhampur was adjudged the Gold Medalist of the All India NCC Refresher Course 58, held at Officers Training Academy, Gwalior (M.P).
The course was organized under the leadership and able guidance of Brig. T.L. Sah, Commandant, OTA, Gwalior. After the successful completion of this course, she is now eligible for the next promotion rank from Lieutenant to Captain. She was also awarded certificate of merit for excellence in Camp Planning, which was also a part of the Course. The training included the majors and minutes of NCC, where the ANO's were evaluated on the grounds from drill, map reading, lecture presentations, academics, yoga and obstacle training. A total of 92 ANO's (Associate NCC Officers) from all over the country were a part of this course. She is the only officer of the NCC from the Directorate to be conferred with the honour; thus bringing laurels to the GDC Udhampur. The Principal of the College Dr. Nutan Kumar Resutra, Staff and students of the institution congratulated Dr. Kamaldeep for her achievement. |
