RAJOURI, Jan 9: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh convened a meeting with the concerned officers to finalize the DPRs for Cluster Tribal Model Villages, Gujjar and Bakerwal Hostels and establishment Milk Village in the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Sher Singh, Chief Planning Officer Shama-Un Ahmed, Chief Medical Officer Rajouri, Sanjeev Puri, Deputy Director planning, Bilal Mir,Chief Education Officer, EXN PWD, Mohd Zubair, EXN PDD, Munshi Khan, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Mohd Younis, Chief Agriculture Officer Janak Raj, Chief Horticulture officer and other concerned officers.
While reviewing the progress of DPRs formulation under cluster Tribal Model Villages, the DDC said the DPRs are to be prepared as per the instructions/guidelines of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs Government of India and keeping in view to provide modern basic amenities to promote Education, Health, Skill Development, Horticulture, Agriculture, Tourism in the areas with ST population. He also exhorted upon the officers to include the provision of short term skill development training from the unemployed youth of tribal population, so that they can earn a livelihood and live a dignified life.
Regarding Establishment of the Milk Village, the DDC directed the Chief Animal Husbandry Officer to submit the DPRs and list of three to four villages and feasibility report of the villages in terms of marketing and connectivity. He directed the Officers concerned to submit the DPRs at the earliest. |
