| Government is mocking farmers by paying Rs 675 per kanal paddy crop : Dasgotra | | |  Early Times Report
R.S.Pura, Jan 9: Former general secretary of Bhartiya Kisan Sangh, Subhash Dasgotra, organized a press conference on Thursday and joked with the farmers for providing relief amount of Rs 675 per kanal paddy crop by the government. Dasgotra said that already due to the unseasonal rains of farmers, the standing paddy crop in the fields got spoiled. Now the farmers could not even plant wheat when there was water in the fields. He said that to get paddy of one kanal one has to pay Rs 800 per kanal. He said that if you spend more than two thousand rupees for planting a canal paddy, the price is up to three thousand Rs. 675 per kanal relief amount is being provided by the government. The farmers demanded to be provided relief amount of two thousand rupees per kanal or according to the fixed prices of basmati paddy by the government, but instead of doing so, farmers are being ignored. Due to which the farmer cannot be happy. Not only this, many farmers were asked to provide relief to such farmers if they are not in the list. Dasgotra said that if the government continues to ignore farmers, then agitation will be done. For which the wrong policy of the government will be responsible. Farmers Pratim Lal and Raman Chaudhary were also present during this time.
