Kavinder starts lane upgradation work in Digiana

Jammu, Jan 9: Former Deputy Chief Minister & BJP Senior leader, Kavinder Gupta today visited Digiana area in W. No. 58 to access and start the development works being executed there. The tiling work of the interior lanes of Digiana was started whereas other work are in progress and maximum lanes shall be upgraded with tiling works and blacktopping work shall star after March, Gupta said. While addressing a well attended gathering organised by Triath Kour, Councillor from the Ward, Gupta said Jammu and Kashmir is the crown of the country and our Prime Minister is serious in the overall development of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and uplift every section of the society in the UT.
He insisted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent a strong message to all functionaries of Government that every person is accountable, adding that gone are days when there used to be percentage of the commission from the developmental works. He stressed for the utilization of every penny released by the Union government for the projects. He said we had been successful in getting the approvals for the projects submitted for the administrative approvals within shortest possible time.
Highlighting the achievements of present dispensation in PWD, PHE and other sectors, Kavinder Gupta apprised that more than 800 KM road length has been up-graded, more than 700 the past three years and all the ready approved works shall be executed by the concerned agencies in phased manner. In health sector, he said the work in Nursing College in Gangyal has been completed besides 200 bedded maternity hospitals in Gandhi Nagar is also ready and 100 bedded hospital building in Rajiv Gandhi Hospital in Gangyal is also ready.
Later Kavinder Gupta also participated in the march in the area in support of ‘Citizen’s Amendment Act (CAA)’ organised by Satwari Mandal. Gupta said congress and its allies are befooling the public over the CAA. He said every Citizen of India is familiar with the cheap politics of such political parties. The parties opposing the Act have no interest in safeguard the lives of minorities from the countries, which have been enacted in the Act for easing formalities for securing Indian Citizenship.
