| 7 day NSS Winter Camp concludes | | |  Early Times Report
Rajouri, Jan 9: Seven days winter camp 2020 organized by NSS unit of Government PG College Rajouri concluded with a valedictory function held in the college under the leadership of NSS Programme Officers Dr. Naseem Malik and Supriya Gupta. The camp was attended by 43 students who were divided into four groups for various activities under cleanliness and beautification of the college campus like awareness programme on "No Polythene Use" and singing competition. An extensive lecture was delivered by Dr. Javed Mughal, HOD Department of English who motivated the students to set their goals and work hard to achieve them. A motivational lecture by Dr. Naseem Malik also enlightened the students about the pivotal role that the NSS volunteers can play in society. A quiz competition on the topic Current affairs and National Service Scheme was also organized to create a multidimensional awareness among NSS volunteers. A valedictory function was organized where NSS volunteers reflected their experiences during the camp. The Principal of the college Dr Shakeel Ahmed Raina presided over the function and Dr. Javed Mughal HOD Department of English was the chief guest. Aksa Dar managed all the proceedings of the function. Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Raina appreciated the efforts of NSS volunteers and enlightened them about the cleanliness and significance of hardwork. |
