Jammu, Jan 11: Hailing the commendable job of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Jammu for registering a case against a sub-inspector (SI) of the J&K Police after he was allegedly caught red-handed while accepting a bribe
The accused SI was posted in Mendhar police station of Poonch district. The locals of Rajouri, Poonch hailed the move of the ACB and demanded that similar action should be taken action against the other corrupt officials in different departments.
"Many incidents of corruptions have been surfaced in various departments including PWD, RDD, Revenue, PHE etc. in Poonch and Rajouri districts and the ACB has information about corrupt officials and it should now take action against such officials by booking them under law," they said.
They alleged that corrupt officials manage to save themselves by using their influence and money power due to which development is affected adversely. The taxpayers money is be swindled by the these corrupts officials. |
