Envoys Kashmir visit punctures Pak propaganda
No clampdown, people performing daily chores dispel wrong notions created by vested interests

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 11: A team of envoys from 15 different countries that visited Srinagar earlier this week to assess the situation were "surprised" to see that life has returned to normal in the Valley and the Pakistan propaganda about clampdown in Kashmir is nothing but a blatant lie.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said, "The envoys saw for themselves that there are no restrictions on the movement of people and there is no shutdown or curfew anywhere."
He said that the opposition parties which are beating their chest and terming the visit of envoys to Kashmir as a "guided tour" are playing into the hands of the enemy by resorting to criticism for the sake of criticism. "By bringing the envoys to Valley the GoI has punctured the false propaganda of Pakistan that Kashmir is burning," the analyst added.
He said that Pakistan along with the terrorists sponsored by it tried its best to prolong the shutdown in Kashmir by threatening the shopkeepers, burning business establishments, and by carrying out grenade attacks but people defied their threats and sent a message that they cannot be intimidated.
An observer said that soon after the envoys landed in Srinagar Pakistan made yet another attempt to poke its nose into the internal matter of our country by issuing a statement that the envoys should be allowed to move freely. "By issuing such a ridiculous statement Pakistan once again got exposed. The envoys visited different places through the busy roads of Srinagar city as everything was normal. It was probably for the first time in so many years that Pakistani stooges had not called for a shutdown or protest against the visit of foreign dignitaries to Kashmir. The separatists whose only job was to cause disruption in Kashmir on the directions of their bosses sitting across the Line of Control (LoC) stand exposed as it has become clear to people that they kept Kashmir on boil for filling their own coffers," the observer said.
He said the separatists used to claim that they are the so-called representatives of the people and anyone who comes to Kashmir should meet them so that they could advocate Pakistan's cause and propagate lies. "This time around these stooges couldn't carry forward their agenda as their funding channels are blocked and their henchmen, who used to orchestrate street protests and stone pelting, have deserted them due to no money being left in the business of separatism," the observer added.
He said, "Envoys who visited J&K will definitely present a real picture of Kashmir before the world which would go a long way in puncturing the false claims of our rogue neighbour."
