IGP Jammu flags off students of Samba district for Bharat Darshan Tour

SAMBA, Jan 11: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu Zone Jammu, Mukesh Singh-IPS flagged off 150 students of District Samba from DPO Samba on “Bharat Darshan Tour” on Saturday.
The IGP Jammu was accompanied by Vivek Gupta, IPS DIG JKS, Range and Shakti K Pathak, SSP Samba. Mukesh Singh –IPS IGP Jammu Zone fluffed off students on“Bharat Darshan Tour” in presence of Deputy Commissioner Samba, Senior Officers of Police, Army, PMFs and Civil administration including local masses of Samba district and parents of the touring students.
The weeklong tour will go on from January 11 to 17th January is organized by District Police Samba under the directions of Police Headquarters Jammu and Kashmir which is an initiative of Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
The group of 150 students includes 86 Boys & 64 Girls selected from across the District Samba are participating in the tour programmed under the supervision of 10 Police Officers of District Police Samba including 01 Gazette Officer.
On the occasion, IGP Jammu while interacting with the touring students advised them to avail the opportunity by taking best out of this tour as they will be visiting places of historical importance and tourist interest.
SSP Samba, in his address said that this tour will provide the students new experiences and vast exposure to visiting places that would be really helpful for them in their studies.
The students on Bharat Darshan Programme will visit Delhi and Hyderabad. Students will explore the places of historical importance and tourist interest which will really help them in a long way to broaden their knowledge base.
All the touring students will experience their maiden journey by air when they will depart from New Delhi to Hyderabad & vice versa as per tour programme.
