Shiksha Niketan celebrates Lohri

Jammu, Jan 11: Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School (SNSSS), Jeevan Nagar, Jammu celebrated the festival of Lohri and Makar Sankranti with a great fervent and endearment in its premises on the 11th of Jan., 2020.
The celebration was marked with the welcome of the Guests Rita Mengi (Trustee of R.M Public School was, the main guest, Rameshwar Mengi, the Principal of the School, was the Guest of honor. Besides these guests, the Incharges of all the wings of the school including Nirmal Sharma, the Main Incharge of the School, Amit, Incharge of Higher Secondary Wing, Vijay Dogra, the office Incharge, Madhuri Malhotra, the Middle wing Incharge, Parvinder Kour, Primary wing Incharge, Sushma Sharma, in Incharge of Pushp Vatika were also present at this occasion. Then, the bouquets were presented to all the invited dignitaries as a token of love.
The school stage was decorated awfully beautiful with the handmade decorating materials which depicted the holy Hindi tradition of the festival of Lohri and Makar Sankranti. The program commenced with the lightening of the holy traditional lamp which was followed by a dance performance by the students of Primary wing. Then a Punjabi thrilling dance was performed by the students of the middle wing.
The students performed enthusiastically burning with the desire to show the love for the festivals. Then the little toddlers from Pushp Vatika along with their charge and teachers also gave a beautiful dance performance.
