Time has come to put records straight
1/12/2020 10:26:54 PM

Army Chief General M M Naravane has made it clear that Indian Army is fully prepared to take Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK). Addressing a news conference in New Delhi the Army Chief said that the Parliament has already passed a resolution stating that entire Jammu and Kashmir is the integral part of India and it includes PoK. "If the Parliament wants that area should belong to us and if we get orders to that effect we are ready to take action," the Army Chief said.
General Naravane's statement came two days after two army porters were killed by the Pakistan's BAT team, which comprises of the Pak army regulars and the terrorists. The members of the BAT team had reportedly mutilated the bodies of one of the porters and beheaded him. The Army Chief termed the action as barbaric and assured that Army would deal with it in a "military way."
The recent BAT attack along the Line of Control (LoC) has once again brought PoK into the focus which has become a source of trouble for India. Pakistan has setup all the terrorist camps at PoK and is making all possible attempts to push in the terrorists trained in PoK into Jammu and Kashmir.
A consensus which is building across the country is that the Army needs to be given a free hand to end the source of trouble so that terrorism emanating from the other side ends once for all.
Pakistan is using PoK as the base camp for training terrorists and then using them against India. Entire world is aware of this fact. The international community on many occasions has assured the leadership our country that it supports India's war against terrorism and would stand by it to wipe out the terrorism from the sub continent.
Pakistan Army seems in no mood to take the warnings seriously. It's only aim seems to keep Jammu and Kashmir disturbed by keeping the proxy war alive. India has to take a decision to counter the nefarious designs of Pakistan Army by launching a decisive war against the terror. This war cannot be won till the entire terror infrastructure in PoK is dismantled and terrorists are made to bite the dust. The Indian Army has been in full state of preparedness for a long time and is awaiting marching orders. The time seems to have come to correct the mistake which was committed by our leaders in 1947 by leaving PoK for Pakistan.
