SVMMA celebrates 157th birth anniversary of Swami Ji

JAMMU, Jan 12: Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission today celebrated 157 th birth anniversary of Swami Ji and foundation day of its hospital at the premises of Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission Charitable Hospital Ambphalla Jammu.
The function was presided by Dr Subash Gupta, Sr. Vice President. The function was started with a haven for peace, progress, wellness and prosperity of the people. Amar Chand Gupta, Sr. Member of the mission highlighted the life and achievements of Swami Vivekananda Ji.
Atma Saroup Gupta, General Secretary presented the annual report of the hospital for the year 2019-20 (from April, 2019 to ending December 2019).
Where in the performance and achievements of the Hospital was explained in detail. The Hospital is providing specialized services in the Hospital in 11 Disciplines in the OPD. As many as 86194 patients were treated in the OPD and 2964 major Surgeries including Lapro were performed during the period.
Besides, 61084, in digital X-Ray, ECG, Ultrasound and Laboratory tests were also conducted.
He also stated that from a single room dispensary is today a well established with advance technology Hospital is functioning. He further added that there is a proposal to expand the Hospital in another block near canteen and Medical shop.
The construction of a Yoga Centre and Meditation Hall is being constructed in the hospital and the statue of Swami Vivekananda Ji would be installed there very soon.
Dr Subash Gupta, Sr. Vice President during his address highlighted the achievements of the hospital and informed the gathering that the hospital is providing health services to the poor and needy patients in the hospital on one of the principles of Swami Ji " Nar Seva Narayan Seva ".
