Services trail by 122 runs on day 2 stumps, J&K scores 360 in first innings

JAMMU, Jan 12: After scoring 360 runs in first inning, Jammu and Kashmir restricted Services for 238 runs for the loss of nine wickets on day 2 stumps as latter trails by 122 runs in a Ranji Matches at Air force Complex ground, Palam, New Delhi Services.
Coming to bat on 338 for the loss of seven wickets, Jammu and Kashmir could only added 22 runs to the early night total. Jammu and Kashmir lost all the three remaining wickets on the score of 360 runs. Out of the 22 runs, 11 were scored by Captain Parveez Rasool as he scores 182 runs in first innings after remaining off from the pitch for over four games of the season.
The bowlers of Jammu and Kashmir team gave a good start to the team as fast bowler Mudhasir took the wickets of both the openers under the score of 7 runs in three over's including Nakul Verma on golden duck.
Ravi Chauhan (27) was next to fell as Services lost third wicket on the score of 36 runs. Half the batting team of Services were out for 81 runs courtesy good line and length from pacers of Jammu and Kashmir. Rahul Singh Gahlaut (22) and Vikas Hathwala, (10) were next to go after Ravi Chauhan.
Captain Rajat Paliwal (34) was sixth wicket to go before having a 34 runs partnership with A P Sharma. Later A P Sharma and A A Bamal had a partnership 81 runs in 20 overs. A A Bamal's wicket fell on 218 while last wicket of the day Diwesh Gurdev Pathania fell on the score of 238.
For Jammu and Kashmir Mudhasir took three wickets, Umar Nazir took 2, while Auqib Nabi, Abid Mushtaq and Parveez Rasool managed one wicket each.
Earlier on day 1, Services who won the toss opted to field first with Jammu and Kashmir team's Captain scoring 171 runs and contributed a 150 runs partnership with Shubham Khajuria. Parveez Rasool hit ball all over the ground, in his score of 171 runs, he hit 23 boundaries and two 6's. Jammu and Kashmir scored 338 for 7 wickets on day 1.
