"It is the first Skiing Course being organised in women section at this world famous and picturesque venue. The Course provides opportunity to young female skiers to hone their skills up to the optimum level, so it is a step forward towards women empowerment. The need is to make it a grand success," DG Sports advised the organisers in a message from Guwahati.

The Course is being held under the supervision of Ski experts namely Ghulam Nabi Reshi (Incharge), Imran Nazir, Sajad Sofi, Mohd Shafi, Shabir Majid, Saima Rashid, Hanan Maqbool and Zahida.
