Information Deptt organizes "Nukkad Natak"at Bagh-e-Bahu

JAMMU, Jan 12: Cultural Wing of Information Department today organised a Nukkad Natak on constitution day at Bagh-e-Bahu Jammu, performed by the artists of the department and from outside.
This programme was aimed at educating the general masses regarding constitution day and to aware people about various responsibilities for our nation and society.
Cultural Officer Parul Khajuria said that this year's constitution day main focus is on fundamental duties. She threw light on different aspects of Fundamental Rights and duties of citizens envisaged in constitution of India in detail.
She said that rights and duties play an important part in the development of a nation, organization or individual. She said that respecting elders, honesty, veracity, non violence are some of our basic fundamental duties that should be inculcate in our children.
She further said that our Constitution promises to secure a social order in which justice, social, economic and political are preserved for the greater benefit of all the citizens.
She also sensitized all about their responsibilities to keep the country neat and clean. She emphasized that everyone should make cleanliness a habit.
On the occasion, signature campaign was also launched on constitution day affirming faith in Indian Constitution and to generate awareness on fundamental duties enshrined in the Constitution.
Artists M. Akram Khan, Naveen Pal, Ganesh, Satbushan Singh, Riya Sharma, Rishika Sharma, Tasleem Kour, Deepika Rani, Minakshi Sharma participated in the natak. The Natak was directed by Raja Amir Khan of Sangam Theatre Group.
