JAMMU, Jan 12: Shripad Yesso Naik, Union Minister of State for Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) and Defence met Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu at the Raj Bhavan here today.
The Lt Governor and Sh. Naik discussed about various reforms and initiatives brought about by the government for the promotion of medicinal plants and development of education and research in Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy to provide more benefit to the people.
Sh. Naik also discussed with the Lt Governor a wide range of issues related to the prevailing security situation in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. They further talked about the developmental aspirations of people of Jammu & Kashmir and various other issues relating to public welfare. |
