MENDHAR, Jan 15: The Tehsil Administration Mendhar launched an anti encroachment drive last night on the main road / bus stand and removed various encroachments.
The drive was launched on the direction of the DC Poonch the team headed by Tehasildhar Dr Vikram Kumar conducted the drive in the presence of SDM Mendhar Dr Sahil Jandyal and Naib Tehsidar Ashfaq Ahmed fani and on the main Road and bus stand from where the encroachments made by the locals and shopkeepers were removed. It said during the campaign the encroachers were given the warning to desist from such practice in future. In addition to this all the unauthorized Reharis/Pharies were also removed from these areas. The objective of the campaign was to aware general public about sanitation, encroachments of footpaths/pavements, illegal constructions by encroaching lanes/ drains/ nallahs etc. |
