Rajouri, Jan 15: Red Ribbon Club Government PG College Rajouri in collaboration with J&K AIDS Control Society commemorated the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda as National Youth Day.
The theme of the programme was “Channelizing the Youth Power for Nation Building”. The programme was presided upon by the Vice Principal Dr Javed Mughal. On this occasion volunteers shared their views on the given theme. Dr. Naseem Ahmed Malik, Nodel officer Red Ribbon Club , presented the welcome address and proceedings were carried out by the NSS commander (Boys Wing ) Kashif Malik. Speaking on the occasion ,Dr Javed Mughal, focussed on the role and responsibilities of the youth towards the nation.
The programme was also attended by Supriya Gupta NSS Programme Officer Girls wing, DR Nazakat Hussain HOD History, Prof. Israr Ahmed, Prof Qamar Rubbani, Prof Junaid , Dr Zaheer Ahmed Department of Urdu, Dr Tabassum Rasool. Principal of the College, Dr Shakeel Ahmed Raina, appreciated the efforts of NSS and Red Ribbon Club of the college for organizing such programmes which are the need of the hour. Vote of thanks was given by Miss Aksa Dar, commander( Girls Wing).
