Congress organises workers' meeting at Chak Malal

JAMMU, Jan 15: Congress party organized worker's meeting at Chak Malal in Chamb Constituency under the leadership of Senior Congress leader, Former Deputy CM of Jammu and Kashmir Tara Chand.
Discussion held on various issues related to area, large number of party worker's Joined the meeting.
While speaking on the occasion, former Dy CM Tarach and said that the BJP was busy distracting and diverting the attention of the people from real issues facing the common man on day to day basis to escape their duty in the absence of any meaningful political process and activity in view of the prevailing situation in the state.
He said that farmers were in great economic disaster due to heavy loss to their paddy crops besides facing hardships for sowing the wheat crops need to be adequate relief compensated by way of special package.
He said that there is almost total damage to the paddy crops, he has demanded special relief package for the farmer's especially paddy belt of Jammu Division who have suffered extensively loss of their crops.
He said that farmers are in very bad condition due to loss of their crops. He said BJP has totally failed in its duty after getting huge mandate from the border population and farmers.
He assured the farmers that congress party has always remained fore front on the issue of farming community in the country and would not be lagging behind in extending all sorts of support to their genuine struggle.
He cautioned the people against the designs of communal and divisive forces who are weakening the strength of nation, Congress has said that party remains committed to the maintaining of religious brotherhood and to promoting the principle of unity in diversity in the country, for overall peace and progress.
The rally was also addressed by PCC Member Suram Singh, Balbir Singh Chairman BDC Khour, Dawrika Nath Sharma-Chairman BDC Khada Balli, Biasaki Ram President BCC Khour, Jagdish Raj Sharma President BCC Samwan, Daljit Singh-President BCC Pargwal and others.
