Jammu and Kashmir trails by 92 runs on day 3 stumps

jAMMU, Jan 15: Jammu and Kashmir team is in little trouble on three days stump against Railways in Col C K Nayudu trophy being played at Govt. Gandhi Memorial Science College ground, Jammu.
Jammu and Kashmir trails by 92 runs after Railways were bowled under the score of 239 runs by host J&K. Earlier Jammu and Kashmir were bundled out under 127 runs in first innings by Railways after day one was washed out by heavy rains.
Coming to bat in first innings, Jammu and Kashmir had won the toss and opted to bat on the surface which suited bowlers. None of the batsman from Jammu and Kashmir could really score big except Lone Nasir Muzaffar , he scored highest 40 runs. Rest of the batsman scored Muneeb Munaf (18), Sufiyaan (19), Sunil Kumar (20) Nipun Verma (16) Abhishant Bakshi (6) runs rest of the batsman did not scored golden duck.
Ayan B Chaudhari was the pick of the bowlers for Services as he took five wickets in six over’s and conceded on 16 runs. Railways were careful in first innings as all the players after handful of balls scored runs. Captain Navneet Virk scored highest 49 runs followed by Soumyabrata Nath (48), Karthik & Sahim Hasan (25) runs.
For Jammu and Kashmir captain Vivrant Sharma and Sunil Kumar took three wickets each. Majid Yousuf, Taizeem Younis Tak and Trag Jahid Nazir took one wickets. In second innings, Jammu and Kashmir seemed to have learned from its mistake and played carefully. On day three stumps Jammu and Kashmir had scored 20 runs for the loss of one wicket.
Jammu and Kashmir had come in the game after winning last game over first innings lead and secured three points against Haryana. So far, Jammu and Kashmir has played three games, wherein Jammu and Kashmir had won two games and lost one.
Jammu and Kashmir has won game against Jharkhand on first inning lead, while they lost the second against Chhattisgarh. The last game Jammu and Kashmir played was against Haryana. Jammu and Kashmir is currently placed fifth in Elite Group C with 7 points in three games with six games to play.
