Tigers outclass Lions by 6 wickets in T-20 cricket match

JAMMU, Feb 2: Jammu and Kashmir Tigers outclassed the Jammu and Kashmir Lions in a in T-20 cricket match being organized under “Fit India Khelo Bharat” initiative in collaboration with university of Jammu at University ground.
Captain Tarun Sharma of J&K Tigers won the toss and decided to field. Coming to bat, J&K Lions scored 129 runs in allotted 20 over, wherein Captain Karan Sharma played a splendid inning and scored 55 runs for his team. From Jammu Tigers, Akash and Narayan scalped 2 wickets each.
In reply, Jammu Tigers chased the target in 16 over by losing 4 wickets. Vikas Choudhary made 48 runs and Vijay Kumar played a splendid knock of 47 in just 19 balls. From Jammu Lions Rahul Koul and Bunty Kumar took 2 and 1 wicket respectively.
Vijay Sharma of Jammu Tigers was adjudged as Man of the Match. BJP State President Ravinder Raina along with Former Minister & Ex-MLA Sat Sharma and BJP State General Secretary Yudhveer Sethi were the Chief Guest on the occasion.
BJP State Secretary Arvind Gupta, Former Minister Sham Choudhary Former MLC Vibodh Gupta, District President Jammu Vinay Gupta, District President Jammu West Munish Khajuria, Jaideep Samyal were also present on the occasion.
