IIM Jammu announces its first Leadership Summit

JAMMU, Feb 6: IIM Jammu announced its 1st edition of Leadership Summit on February 7th and 8th 2020. The theme for the summit this year would be "Leading India through Innovation, Growth and Diversity" - with a vision to seek answers pertinent to Indian Economy which aspires to be five trillion by 2024. The summit will be attended by about 50 corporate and public sector leaders from across the county. The speakers for the event include Chief Executive officers from prominent organizations like Diageo, CEAT Specialty Tyres Ltd., Acer Ltd., Acme Solar and many others.
The Leadership Summit is an important marquee event at Indian Institute of Management Jammu that resonates with its vision of developing leadership and entrepreneurship. The idea is to bring together visionaries from industry and government to offer valuable ideas to support economic growth of the country through industrial transformation by bringing them on a single platform to create meaningful impact on our future. Innovation, collaboration, excellence and inclusiveness form the core values of IIM Jammu which was setup with an aim to promote excellence in management education and create strong industry interface.
The distinguished speakers will enlighten the students, the leaders of tomorrow and share insight through 4 panel discussions.
This year, more than 21 distinguished speakers are invited from prominent sectors and companies, all over India with vast industry experience. The speakers include eminent leaders from different sectors such as Harsh Kumar Bhanwala (Chairman NABARD), Anand Kripalu (MD, CEO & Member, Diageo Global Executive Committee (MD & CEO CEAT Specialty Tyres Ltd.), Mukund Walvekar (Ex. MD & CEO, Acer Ltd., Bengaluru), Rohit Kansal (Principal Secretary, Govt, of J&K) Anita Bhogle (Chairperson, Prosearch Consultants) and many more. The Summit is likely to be attended by students, faculty members, government officials and various other industry stalwarts.
The Summit which starts at 2:00pm on 7th February will consist of 2 panels on Friday and 2 panels on Saturday. It will conclude on 8th February after the valedictory session at 2 pm.
