Inter Panchayat, Block Level Tournament continues, 2 games played

JAMMU, Feb 6: In an ongoing Inter Panchayat, Block Level Tournament, two matches were downplayed at Parade Ground Jammu on Thursday. In the first match, Gorkha Cricket Club defeated Bhagwati Cricket Club by 57 runs and Shining star Cricket Club outclasses Young Cricket Club by 27 runs.
In first match of the day, Gorkha Cricket club batted first and scored 183 runs in 20 over’s.
Nikhil scored highest 41 runs and Sahil managed 34 runs.
For Bhagwati Cricket club Ashutosh took 2 wickets and Sahil one wicket. Bhagwati Cricket Club could chase the target and scored only 126 runs. Sourav was declared Man of the Match.
In second match of the day, Shining Star Cricket club scored 189 runs against Young Cricket Club. Hisham Saleem scored highest 75 runs. Shoaib and Mohit took 1 wicket each. In reply Young Cricket Club managed only 162 runs. Hisham Saleem was declared Man of the Match.
The competitions is organised under the patronage of Dr. Saleem-ur-Rehman, Worthy Director General, Youth Services & Sports J&K, Jammu. Sukhdev Raj Sharma is the organising secretary of the said tournament and officials of Youth Services & Sports District Jammu remain present during the competitions.
Matches were officiated by penal of experts of the same game. Many spectators were also present to witness the competition.
