‘SICOP gave order for supply of interlocking tiles thrice’

Jammu, Feb 14: Contrary to what a Reasi based entrepreneur is claiming at various fronts about ‘nepotism’, the SICOP administration today claimed the entrepreneur had failed to supply the tile despite three different orders of supply given to him.
According to SICOP’s spokesperson, in three different supply orders, the entrepreneur was asked to supply 31000 interlocking tiles to two districts of Reasi and Rajouri. “Following the demands note from ACD Reasi two orders for supply of interlocking tiles vis 15000 plain, while 16000 colour issued in favour of M/s Bakshi Cement Works Arts Reasi, but in both cases the supply was not made by the it”, the spokesperson said adding that M/s Bakshi Cement Works Arts Reasi was failed to supply for third order of interlocking tiles for BDO Lamberi through ACD Rajouri.
“Under supply order no. and date ACDR/KM/2019-20/4873-8 dated 20/11/2019 a supply order for 5000 tiles given to M/s Bakshi Cement Works Arts Reasi, but the supply was not made by said firm”. The order for total 36000 tiles worth Rs 5.61 lacs given to him but the M/s Bakshi Cement Works Arts Reasi remained un-bothered, he further added.
