JAMMU, Feb 28: An Industrial visit to "Kandhari Beverages" Samba (Jammu), Conducted by Training and Placement Department of YCET.
A complete report based on industrial visit conducted by Training and Placement Department of YCET especially for the students of Electrical Department (6th & 8th ) Semester so that they can enhance their practical stimulation and to let them having an complete overview on the activities and Manufacturing Process of Beverages (Coca- Cola, Maza).
Kandhari Beverages manufacturer solvents and syrups for beverages sells them to bottle and can operators and partially to wholesalers and some retailers. It is an international beverage found in America with headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.It manufactures, distributes and markets non-alcoholic beverage solvents. It produces over 500 brands in over 200 countries, offering over 1.7 billion sales per day.
The student undergo complete process of production with production Employee Harsimran Singh by visiting CIP(Clean In Process) Room, Raw Syrup Room and understood how solvents and syrups combine with carbonated water to produce non-alcoholic drinks. The product are then packed in special containers and bottles that have the company trademark. The students then had a discussion with Quality Assurance Manager and they briefed about their process and how they build a strong trust to their customers by manufacturing drinks in the market and by maintaining proper hygiene. The students and faculty get full support from HR Department of Kandhari Beverages.
In the beginning the company shown a presentation to students in which they brief them about all the safety measures that students has to follow while visiting in production area and also give overview of the manufacturing process.
The session was concluded with Question-Answer session and at the end Company General Manager Bikramjeet Singh met the students and clear all the doubts and myths which was in students mind about technologies. All the students were satisfied after the session.The students and faculty Members express their thanks to General Manager,HR Team and all the team members of Kandhari Beverages for such a good gesture and hospitality they have shown and also for giving them an opportunity for conducting an industrial visit in their premises. Finally we left the premises it was an informative, interesting and a successful visit. The student enjoyed the visit and came back with good technical knowledge.
