JAMMU, Feb 28: Idiot Club organized 8th Jaspal Bhatti Award ceremony in Amritsar, Punjab under the supervision of Rajinder Rikhi and Dhvani Mehra.
Pathankot based Ghazal singer Devainder Pandit was awarded the Jaspal Bhatti Award for "Mitti Da Bawa" song. Artist Shammi Chaudhary was the chief guest while and Astrologer K S Paras was guest of honour on the occasion.
President Rajender Rikhi and Dhvani Mehra said that they have been giving Jaspal Bhatti Award in memory of late Jaspal Bhatti for the last 7 years.
Sandhya Gupta, (founder of the Women's Club Meri Pehchan) from Jammu, also took part in the award show as a guest of honour. Sandhya Gupta honoured Rajinder Rikhi (Punjab Film Artist and President Idiot Club Amritsar), Shammi Chaudhary (Famous Photographer and senior Theater Artist), Dhvani Mehra (Vice President and Event Organizer of Idot Club), J S Brar Theatre Guru and Kala Srimony (Legend Personality and Founder of Punjab Natashala, Amritsar), also honoured with Maharaja Hari Singh Dogra Samman. |
