| Swachhta Pakhwada campaign begins at Rajouri | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Mar 3: The District Level Centre for Women (MSK) today organised a pledge taking ceremony here at International higher secondary school to mark the start of Swachhta Pakhwada.
The students and staff of the school, along with the MSK team, took a pledge to maintain cleanliness and spread this message around and made it a reality.
District Coordinators MSK Sanjana Thakur and Nazma Sheikh, while addressing the students and staff of school said that cleanliness is very important for our healthy life.
The MSK team exhorted students to fulfil Mahatma Gandhi's vision of clean and better India. The swachhta pledge taking ceremony was organised in different schools across the district Rajouri with full enthusiasm and vigour.
The Swachhta Pakhwada is observed as an environmental awareness campaign under the Swachh Bharat Mission and the objective is to create awareness, target programmes, and invite pledges through Community participation. |
