RAMBAN, Mar 3: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Nazim Zai Khan today asked the concerned departments and stakeholders to intensify Special Financial Inclusion Outreach Campaign (SFIOC) across the district.
The DC was chairing a meeting to review the achievements so far, including coverage recorded under Kisan Credit Card (KCC) scheme and other Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) being implemented by different departments. The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Kasruri Lal; Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Janak Raj; District Social welfare officer, Waheed-ur; Dy. CMO, Dr. Iqbal Bhat, besides CAO, ALC, AD Employment, Nodal Officer JKEDI, AD Planning, Lead District Manager (LDM) and others.
The DDC reviewed achievements made till ending February 2020 under the centrally sponsored schemes viz PMJDY, PMJJBY, PM-Kisan, PMKSY, RuPay, NRLM, JKEDI, AYUSHMAN BHARAT, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna, National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP), Pradhan Mantri Shramyogi Maan Daan Yojana (PMSMDY) and Integrated Social Society Scheme.
The DDC directed LDM, officers of Agriculture and other allied departments to redouble their efforts to achieve the target of providing KCC to 100% eligible farmers in the district.
It was impressed upon all district /sectoral officers to put in dedicated, coordinated and planned efforts to create visible infrastructure and generate employment opportunities for the people.
He directed the district heads of various departments to organize awareness programmes in clusters of Panchyats to educate the people regarding benefits of the schemes. |
