Kalka Volleyball Club clinches Kamal Kishore Memorial volleyball tournament

Jammu, Mar 3: Kalka Volleyball Club on Tuesday clinched Kamal Kishore Memorial volleyball tournament by defeating Volleyball team of DPL Reasi. Kalka Volleyball club Reasi won the match by 2-0. The winning team was awarded with Rs. 6000/- rupees and trophy whereas the runner up team was awarded with Rs. 4000/- rupees cash and trophy.
Indu Kanwal Chib (KAS), Deputy Commissioner Reasi was Chief Guest on the occasion whereas parents of the Shaheed Sgct. Kamal Kishore Mohan Lal (father of martyr) and Geeta Devi (mother of the martyr) were guests of Honour.
Mumtaz Ali Bhatti (JKPS) DY.SP DAR DPL, Reasi welcomed all the dignitaries and congratulated to both the winning and runner up teams during award giving ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion Rashmi Wazir (JKPS) SSP, Reasi paid rich tributes to the martyr Sgct. Kamal Kishore and prayed for peace of the soul and said that J&K Police is proud of its martyrs like Sgct. Kamal Kishore.
She further said that Reasi Police will organise more sports events in the near future. Indu Kanwal Chib (JKAS), Deputy Commissioner Reasi appreciated the efforts of District Police Reasi for organising the tournament in the memory of the martyr to pay tribute to him. She further said that efforts are on for demarcation of the land for the construction of the martyr Memorial in the memory of Sgct. Kamal Kishore at Gran Morh Reasi as already projected by District Police Reasi and the same will be constructed soon. Surjeet Kumar Bhagat (JKPS) Addl. SP Reasi, Inspr. Arun Kumar, RI DPL Reasi, Moti Singh, Lines Officer DPL Reasi and large number of police and civil persons were present to cheer both the teams.
