Five Hizb OGWs including brother of militant booked by Marwah police

Jammu, Mar 5: Continuing its major crackdown on Hizb terror network in Kishtwar District, Marwah police on the bases of the ongoing investigation into the various terror related incidents involving Hizb Commander Mohammad Amin Butt alias Jahingir Saroori, Raiz Ahmed alias Hazazi, Muddasir and others booked five Over Ground Workers who according to police are directly or indirectly found involved in helping the Hizb Commander and his associates by providing them shelter, transportation, finance and other logistic support.
As per the details available with Early Times, Marwah police booked five OGWs namely Ghulam Hussain lone Son of Mohd Ramzan lone, Mohd Yaseen Son of Ghulam Ali Chopan, Zakir Hussain Son of Farooq Ahmed, Mohammad Iqbal S/O Habib Ulla lone all Resident of Anyar at Marwah and Bashir Ahmed S/O Mohd Ramzan R/O Renai Marwah and registered a case FIR No. 01/2020 P/S Marwah U/S 18,19,20,38,39 Unlawful Activities Act.
Among those booked include the brother of surviving Hizb militant Riaz Ahmed, a local from Marwah.
Speaking to Early Times, senior police offical while confirming the registration of an FIR against five Hizb OGWs added that no one has so far been arrested. He said that after registration of an FIR, police has launched man hunt to arrest them and did not rule out involvement of more persons in these activities.
It is pertinent to mention that more than two dozen OGWs had already booked by Kishtwar Police hailing from Kishtwar and Dachhan areas. Among those booked are high profile person.
