Jammu, Mar 6: One day Civil Defence & Disaster Management Conference has been conducted at Police Auditorium Gulshan Ground Jammu, which was organized by Civil Defence, Jammu under the guidance of Muneer Ahmed Khan, IPS, Additional Director General of Police Homeguards/Civil Defence & SDRF J&K-Jammu, Vikas Gupta, JKPS, SSP I/C DIG, HG/CD & UTDRF Jammu, under the supervision of Dy.SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, and Jammu. During the One day Civil Defence & Disaster Management Conference, the knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Emergency methods of rescue, firefighting alongwith demonstration was given participants
While speaking on the occasion, Dr. S.K Pandita, Director Disaster Management, Dr. S.C Verma Rtd. Asstt. Director Fire & Emergency, Dr. Deepak Kumar, Dy. Medical Supdt. Super Specialty Hospital Jammu, Shashi Thakur, Dy.SP Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu, Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden Jammu, & Thakur Ranjit Singh, Dy. Chief Warden Jammu deliver the valuable lecture on Disaster Management, Firefighting, first Aid etc. Also demonstration on the role of Civil Defence, emergency method of rescue has been delivered by the Chief Warden and team of Civil Defence instructors.
Kanwar Ranjeet Singh, SO to ADGP,HG/CD & UTDRF J&K –Jammu, thanked the Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu and her team for organizing one day Civil Defence & Disaster Management Conference. Large numbers of Officers/ Officials from different departments have attended the programme.
The Civil Defence & Disaster Management programme was concluded with vote of thanks by Th. Ranjit Singh, Dy. Chief Warden Civil Defence Jammu.
